  1. Take 5-6 tbsp oil
  2. Get 1 tsp mustard seeds
  3. Make ready 2 dry red chillies
  4. Make ready 3-4 green chillies chopped

  7. Prepare 1/4 cup Green peas

  11. Get 1/4 cup Cauliflower chopped into florets
  12. Take 2 tbsp carrots chopped into pieces
  13. Prepare 1/4 cup potatoes chopped into big pieces
  14. Make ready 4-5 big pieces of suran (yam)
  15. Get 4-5 pieces sweet potatoes peeled and cut into pieces
  16. Prepare 2 pieces drumsticks cut into pieces
  17. Take 2 raw bananas cut into big pieces
  18. Make ready 3 cups tomatoes cut into pieces
  19. Take to taste Salt
  20. Prepare 2 medium pieces of jaggery
  21. Take For making methi gota
  22. Prepare 1 bunch methi leaves
  23. Make ready 1 small cup gram flour
  24. Prepare 1 Pinch red chilli powder
  25. Take 1/4 tsp dhania powder
  26. Get 1/4 tsp jeera powder
  27. Get 1 tsp Oil for gota
  28. Prepare 1 Pinch soda
  29. Make ready to taste sugar
  30. Get to taste Salt,

Instructions to make Undhiyu:
  1. In a big pan heat oil.Add mustard seeds.When mustard seeds crackle add curry leaves, red chillies green chillies and hing.
  2. Now add green peas, valor,farsi (French beans),tuvar seeds and saute the veggies for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add Cauliflower, carrots and potatoes and stir all the vegetables.
  4. Close the lid for few minutes and let it simmer.
  5. Now add pieces of suran,Sweet potatoes,drum sticks and raw bananas and mix the veggies.
  6. Again close the lid to simmer
  7. Add tomatoes and salt.
  8. Mix all the vegetables.
  9. Now close the lid to allow the tomatoes and all the vegetables to soften.
  10. Let the tomatoes be soften and thick gravy forms in the Undhiyu.
  11. Keep the flame on medium.
  12. In a small bowl mix all the ingredients of methi gota and make a semi thick pakora like batter.
  13. Fry the methi gota in hot oil and add the got as in the Undhiyu. Mix well.
  14. Add jaggery.If u wish add red chilli powder according to your child's taste.
  15. Slow the flame and let a thick gravy form.
  16. After few minutes Off the flame and sprinkle chopped Coriander leaves.
  17. U can also pack this yummy Undhiyu for lunch box.
