  1. Prepare 500 grams poha(flattened rice)
  2. Prepare 50 grams peanuts
  3. Make ready 50 grams roasted Bengal gram
  4. Take 3 red chillies
  5. Get 1 table spoon red chilli powder
  6. Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  7. Take 1/2 cup sliced dry coconut
  8. Take 1/2 cup curry leaves
  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp sugar
  10. Make ready to taste Salt
  11. Take 1 tablespoon rai(mustard seeds)
  12. Get 1/2 tsp hing(asafetoda)
  13. Make ready 5 tsp vegetable oil

Steps to make Poha snack:
  1. Take a heated pan and fry the poha till it becomes crispy.
  2. Take another pan. Heat oil and ghee. Add rai, jeera, hing, peanuts, roasted Chana dal, curry leaves coconut, turmeric. Fry for about five minutes. Then add poha. Fry it for about two minutes. Then add red chilli powder, salt and sugar. Fry it for two minutes. Poha becomes crispy. Transfer it into a container only when poha cools down. Or else it becomes very soft.
  3. It's ready to be served. You can add finely chopped onions when serving.
