  1. Get 1 cup white peas /safed vatana / dried white peas, soaked overnight
  2. Make ready 3 cup water
  3. Prepare 1/2 tsp turmeric powder / haldi
  4. Get 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder / lal mirch powder
  5. Make ready to taste salt
  6. Take medium sized potato, boiled and peeled
  7. Make ready 4 tbsp or ¼ cup thick poha / flattened rice / beaten rice, washed
  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder / haldi
  9. Take 3/4 tsp kashmiri red chili powder / lal mirch powder
  10. Get to taste salt
  11. Take 1/4 tsp cumin powder / jeera powder
  12. Make ready 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  13. Get oil for roasting pattice
  14. Get 1 tsp green chutney
  15. Prepare 3 tsp tamarind chutney / imli-chutney salt to taste
  16. Prepare generous pinch kashmiri red chili powder / lal mirch powder
  17. Make ready pinch cumin powder / jeera powder
  18. Get pinch chaat masala
  19. Get 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  20. Prepare 1/4 tomato, finely chopped

Steps to make Ragda Patties Chaat:
  1. Firstly, pressure cook soaked white peas along with water turmeric, chili powder and salt for 4 whistles.
  2. Once the pressure releases, mash the peas. keep aside. - mash boiled potatoes.
  3. Additionally, add thick poha, turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala and salt.
  4. Combine well and prepare pattice. - shallow fry to golden brown and crisp. - in a plate pour prepared ragada and place pattice.
  5. Further pour more ragada and top wit green chutney and tamarind chutney. - sprinkle chili powder, cumin powder, chaat masala and salt.
  6. Also top with onions, tomato, sev and coriander leaves.
  7. Finally, serve ragda patties hot along with cutting chai.
