  1. Prepare 1 bowl flattened rice
  2. Take 2 potatoes
  3. Make ready 1 onion
  4. Get 2 Green chilli
  5. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped red capsicum
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp chopped green capsicum
  7. Make ready 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  8. Get 1/2 cup fresh peas
  9. Prepare 1 inch ginger
  10. Get 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  11. Make ready 2 tbsp peanuts
  12. Make ready 1 tsp cumin seeds
  13. Get 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
  14. Take 8-10 raisins
  15. Get 1 lemon
  16. Get 2 tbsp sugar
  17. Get 2 tbsp coconut powder
  18. Get To taste salt
  19. Get 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  20. Take 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  21. Take 2 tbsp cooking oil
  22. Get 2 tbsp water

Instructions to make Batata Poha:
  1. Wash poha in running water in a large siever and drain the water and keep aside.
  2. Dry roast peanuts in a karahi and keep aside.
  3. Peel, Wash and Chop potatoes, onion, green chilli, ginger, red and green capsicums, coriander leaves.
  4. Heat oil in a karahi and put cumin seeds and when cumin seeds splutter put mustard seeds and asafetida. Add onions and cook on low flame till onions turned transculent.
  5. Add chopped potatoes, grated ginger, green chilli and peas and cook for 5 minutes on low flame till potatoes are done. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Sauté for 1 minute.
  6. Add both capsicums and roasted Peanuts and saute for 2 minutes. Now Add drained poha and 2 tb spoon water and mix well. Place the lid and cook for 2 minutes. Open the lid and add sugar, raisins, coconut powder and squeeze lemon juice and mix well. Batata poha is ready. Switch off the flame.
  7. Serve hot.
