  1. Prepare 1 cup poha / flattened rice
  2. Make ready 2 tbsp rice flour
  3. Get 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  4. Get 2 green chillies chopped finely
  5. Prepare 1 onion chopped finely
  6. Get 1 tbsp chopped coriander
  7. Get 10-12 roasted curry leaves
  8. Make ready 1/4 tsp cumin and mustard seeds
  9. Make ready 4 tbsp cornflour or regular flour for slurry
  10. Make ready 1 cup breadcrumbs
  11. Take 1 cup oil for frying
  12. Get To taste salt
  13. Get 1 tsp chaat masala

Instructions to make Poha and Rice flour Masala Doughnuts:
  1. Wash poha and drain water completely.Pour poha in a bowl.Mix rice flour,regular flour in it.Finely chop onion and green chillies and mix in the poha.Mash all.Add ginger paste,salt,hot and sweet tomato sauce or pizza sauce.Mix chopped coriander and roasted or freshly fried curry leaves.Mash all and knead into a smooth dough.If needed sprinkle little water,but it should not be very wet.
  2. Divide into equal balls.Flatten with the palm of your hand.Make a hole in the middle with your finger or with the cap of a bottle.Make a slurry with cornflour or flour.Dip the doughnuts in this slurry and coat with breadcrumbs.Allow to set in fridge for 15 minutes.Heat oil and fry doughnuts crispy golden brown.Serve hot with tomato sauce or tamarind chutney.
