  1. Get 1 cup cooked rice
  2. Take 1/2 cup flattened rice
  3. Get 1/2 cup milk
  4. Prepare 2 tsp milk powder
  5. Prepare 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  6. Prepare 1 tsp saffron milk masala powder
  7. Make ready 1/5 tsp salt
  8. Prepare 2 tsp rice flour
  9. Make ready as needed Oil for deep frying
  10. Get For sugar syrup
  11. Prepare 1 cup sugar
  12. Get 2 cup water
  13. Take 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  14. Get For garnishing
  15. Take as needed chopped pistachios
  16. Make ready as needed dry rose petals
  17. Take as needed saffron strands

Instructions to make Chawal ras bora:
  1. Wash the flattened rice /poha in water and then strain them from water and soak them in milk for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Grind the cooked rice along with soaked poha and milk, milk powder, cardamom powder, saffron milk masala powder to make a smooth batter.
  3. Mix salt and rice powder in it and now the batter is ready.
  4. Heat a Kadai with oil and then drop the batter like pakodas in it and cook in low flame till they become golden brown in colour.
  5. In the meantime prepare the sugar syrup and allow it to boil for 5 minutes and put all the fritters in it and switch off the flame.
  6. Then your chawal ras boras are ready. Serve by garnishing with some chopped pistachios, rose petals and saffron strands on it.
