The ingredients needed to make Non veg poha:
  1. Get 1 cup chopped vegetables (carrots,peas, bell peppers, cauliflower florets)boiled
  2. Get 1 egg scrambled
  3. Make ready 1/2 cup chopped onion
  4. Take 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  5. Take 250 gm flattened rice or poha washed and softened
  6. Prepare 1 Chorizo
  7. Prepare 250 gms mince meat
  8. Get 1 teaspoon garam masala
  9. Prepare 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  10. Get 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  11. Get 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  12. Get 100 soaked cashews and raisins
  13. Prepare 1 Bay leaf
  14. Take 4 Cardamon pods
  15. Take 1 pinch cumin seeds
  16. Get 1 pinch asafoetida or hing
  17. Make ready As needed Ghee
  18. Make ready As needed Lime for garnishing

Instructions to make Non veg poha:
  1. Cook the mince meat with all the dry spice powders until it releases oil
  2. Fry the boiled Vegetables in the same oil
  3. Add oil if needed. Poha requires more oil than usual.
  4. Temper it with whole garam masala, a pinch of cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida
  5. Add the chopped onions and ginger paste
  6. Cook until onions become translucent
  7. Add the fried vegetables.
  8. Add the cooked mince meat or chorizo
  9. Add the scrambled eggs
  10. Add the poha
  11. Mix well and fry for 10 mins
  12. Add oil if needed
  13. Add salt and sugar to taste
  14. When the grains are nicely coated and are fried well, turn off the stove
  15. Add some garam masala powder and ghee on top
  16. Mix well and squeeze some lime on top
  17. Serve hot
