The ingredients needed to make Poha Pulav:
  1. Take 2 cups Poha or flattened rice
  2. Get 1/4 cup fresh green peas
  3. Get 1/4 cup chopped carrot
  4. Get 1/4 cup potato
  5. Make ready 1/4 cup chopped cauliflower
  6. Take 1 table spoon peanuts/cashew nuts
  7. Prepare 1 table spoon raisins or kismis
  8. Get 2 table spoon deshi ghee
  9. Take 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  10. Get 2 bay leaves
  11. Get to taste Salt and sugar
  12. Prepare Ginger julienne
  13. Get 2 Copped green chillies

Instructions to make Poha Pulav:
  1. Soak poha, drain and keep aside.
  2. Heat a kadai and put ghee. When the ghee is hot add groundnuts, cashew nuts and raisin. Stir fry a little and keep aside.
  3. In the same oil, add cumin seeds and bay leaf. Add all the chopped vegetables and stir fry with salt and turmeric. Add chopped chillies and ginger julienne. Add little sugar as per your choice. Cover the pan for a few minutes till the vegetables are tender and cooked.
  4. Now, add previously soaked poha and stir to mix uniformly. Again cover the pan with a lid for a few minutes. Add a teaspoon of ghee and stir again.
  5. Healthy and tasty Poha pulav is now ready. Serve with a cup of hot tea for breakfast.
