  1. Take 1 cup Besan flour
  2. Prepare 2 tsp red chilli powder
  3. Take 1 tsp paprika or kasmiri chill powder (for colour)
  4. Make ready 1/2 tsp red crushed chillie
  5. Take 1 tsp zeera
  6. Take 1 tbsp sabut dhania crushed
  7. Get 1 _2tsp salt
  8. Prepare 1 tsp garamasala powder
  9. Take 1 tsp zeera powder
  10. Take 1 tsp baking powder
  11. Take 1/2 tsp qasuri methi (optional)
  12. Get 1 tsp anardana powder or use lemon juice
  13. Make ready 1 tsp haldi powder
  14. Get 2 tbsp finely chopped onion
  15. Make ready 1 tbsp fresh dhania
  16. Take 1 tbsp chopped green chillies
  17. Make ready 2 tbsp oil
  18. Make ready 1 tsp dahi

Steps to make Besan ke chillay (Desi pancakes):
  1. Strain besan in a bid bowl and take out 3tbsp besan in a small bowl (for topping)
  2. In big bowl besan add 1tsp red chilli powder, 1tsp salt, baking powder, dahi, 1/2tsp zeera powder, 1/2tsp haldi and 1/2tsp garam masala powder
  3. Add water and mix till a medium consentency like pancakes. Keep covered for 20min or more
  4. In smaller bowl besan add 1tsp red chilli powder, 1tsp red crushed chillies, salt, zeera powder, 1/2tsp garam masala, qasuri methi, lemon juice, crush dhania and some chopped dhania it should be of reddish colour so if required add little food colour.
  5. Make it medium thick paste for topping by adding little water
  6. Beat or whip with spoon both the besan.
  7. Take a nonstick pan grease with little oil in center.
  8. With a spoon pour a small amount of besan on it just like we make pancakes. Flame should be low
  9. Turn the side when firm and light brown it takes few seconds, don't overcook them.
  10. After 4sec when it's seems little firm put the topping with a small spoon and spread. Put the onions, green chillies and dhania on it
  11. When it's little set turn (palat dein) it with fork or spoon and cook till done.
  12. It takes little time to cook
  13. Serve with any chutney or raita. They are so tasty do try it. Can be eaten at tea time also.
