The ingredients needed to make Julie’s Spicy Meatballs:
  1. Make ready 2 lbs. ground meat. All beef will work, but I prefer a mix of beef and veal, or a mix of beef, veal and pork
  2. Get 1/2 sweet onion, finely chopped (food processor works nicely)
  3. Take 1 hot pepper of choice, finely chopped. I used a long hot and left the seeds in, also chopped in the food processor
  4. Get 1 raw egg, for binding
  5. Prepare 1/2 cup Italian style breadcrumbs
  6. Get 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  7. Take 1/4-1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  8. Get 4 basil leaves, chopped
  9. Make ready 1 TBS. dried parsley or a bunch of fresh chopped parsley
  10. Take to taste Salt,
  11. Prepare to taste Black pepper,
  12. Prepare 1/3 cup milk
  13. Make ready 2 TBS. flour, for coating meatballs

Brown the meatballs in batches until nice and deep golden, then move them to a plate. Heat the oil in the frying pan over a medium heat and add the meatballs using a spoon.
