The ingredients needed to make Baked Falafel:
  1. Get 1 cup chickpeas
  2. Make ready 4 tbsp chopped parsley
  3. Make ready 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves
  4. Prepare 1 tsp jeera(cumin seeds)
  5. Make ready 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  6. Make ready 2 tsp sesame seeds
  7. Prepare 1-2 tbsp besan for binding optional
  8. Make ready as needed Oil for greasing tray & little oil to drizzle on falafel
  9. Get 1 tsp Lemon juice
  10. Take to taste Salt

Steps to make Baked Falafel:
  1. Put the chickpeas in a bowl with plenty of cold water; soak overnight; boil with salt until 90% done before boiling wash chickpeas in running water so all gas out - 2. Drain & place chickpeas in food processor with onion, garlic,cumin, parsley,coriander & lemon juice
    1. Add salt & process until the mixture forms a coarse texture ; add sesame seeds - 4. Shape the mixture in to walnut size ball & flatten them slightly
    1. In a preheat oven grease the tray& arrange the falafel - 6. Change the sides frequently bake it until golden - 7. Serve with tahini / yogurt mint dip
