  1. Get For Makki ki roti
  2. Take 1 cup Maize Flour
  3. Prepare as needed Water
  4. Make ready 1 tsp Butter
  5. Get For kadhi
  6. Get 1 Onion chopped
  7. Take as needed Oil
  8. Get to taste Salt
  9. Make ready 1/2 tsp Red chilli Powder
  10. Take 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. Prepare 1 tsp Methi (fenugreek)Seeds
  12. Take 1/2 cup Green leafy vegetables
  13. Get as needed Water
  14. Prepare 4 tsp gram flour
  15. Prepare 2 cups Curd
  16. Make ready 1 tsp Garlic paste

Instructions to make Punjabi Platter Makki ki roti and Kadhi:
  1. Take a bowl, Add Maize flour and knead into a firm dough using water.Cover and kept aside for 1 hour. Now take small portions of dough and roll the roti with the help of little maize flour….
  2. Now Heat a nonstick tawa on high flame, Place the roti gently over it.Cook until small blisters appears on the surface….Cook from both side until brown spots appears on both sides……Makki ki roti is ready.
  3. For kadhi: Heat oil in a pan. Add methi seeds, Chopped onions and garlic paste. Cook until onions becomes soft and turns light brown.Now add washed saag(Spinach or any green leafy veg) and cook it for 10 minutes more. Now add salt, haldi and red chilli powder.
  4. Now add besan into curd and mix the mixture well and add into kadhai and stir continuously untill boil.Add water according to your choice. Mix well and cook for another 10 minutes.Kadhi is ready.
  5. Smear butter over makki ki roti.Serve hot makki ki roti with kadhi and Some onions, green chilli and pickle.
