The ingredients needed to make Makki ki roti:
  1. Make ready 250 g makke ka atta
  2. Prepare to taste Salt
  3. Prepare As required Water
  4. Prepare As required Ghee
  5. Take 1/2 tsp carom/Ajwain seeds

Like most rotis in the Indian subcontinent, it is baked on a tava. This step by step photo recipe of Makki Ki Roti uses plastic sheet technique that makes rolling easier with rolling pin. Coriander leaves and carom seeds adds nice flavory touch to its crisp texture. Note: Makki ki roti is little hard to roll that is the reason I decided to use potatoes.

Steps to make Makki ki roti:
  1. Put makki atta, carom seed and salt in a palleter/parat and mix it well.
  2. Keep the atta of one roti aside and add little water in it and make a dough and roll it and make a Chapati with the help of rolling pins. Heat a tawa and put the Chapati on the tawa and roast it both sides. Now do the same and make other chapatis. When the Chapati is ready then spread some ghee on it and serve hot.
