  1. Get 750 gram Sarson Saag
  2. Get 250 gram Palak Saag
  3. Get 250 gram Methi Saag
  4. Get 2 cups Water with a pinch of salt
  5. Get 1 1/2 cup Makki atta
  6. Prepare 4 Green chilli
  7. Get 25 gram Ginger
  8. Prepare 2 Onions
  9. Make ready 6 cloves Garlic
  10. Get 100 gram Ghee
  11. Prepare 1/2 tsp Red pepper powder
  12. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  13. Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  14. Prepare For Makki ki Roti:
  15. Prepare 1/2 kg Makki Atta
  16. Get For kneading Wate
  17. Get For frying Ghee

Instructions to make Sarson Ka Saag Makki Ki Roti,ghee-shakker & gur:
  1. Add the three saags, salt and water into pressure cooker & cook over low heat for 1 1/2 hours.
  2. Squeeze out saag and keep saag water aside. Mash saag in the cooker until coarsely ground, and add makki atta and stir.
  3. Put back saag water and a little fresh water & boil over slow heat.
  4. Add green chillies & ginger & cook till saag gets thick.
  5. For tadka, add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, red pepper powder; garam masala, dhania & saute until onions are light brown.
  6. Mix into saag & garnish with julienne of ginger fried in ghee,green chilles and lots of White homemade butter.
  7. Prepare Makki ki Roti…. - Knead the makki atta until it becomes a ball, add atta to dry it & knead.
  8. Heat the tava and add a little ghee so that it does not stick.
  9. Make round shapes of makki roti on chakla & carefully transfer to the tava. - Cook with ghee till golden brown.
  10. Serve with hot sarson da saag and gur,ghee,shaker,chatti ki lassi and white butter.
