  3. Take 3 tbsp wheat flour
  4. Get to taste Salt
  5. Prepare 1 tsp carrom seeds
  6. Take For saag
  7. Take 5 cup mustard leaves (sarson ke patte)
  8. Make ready 1 1/2 cup roughly cooked spinach
  9. Prepare 2 1/5 tsp finely chopped green chillies
  10. Take 2 tsp finely chopped ginger
  11. Get 2 tbsp ghee
  12. Make ready 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  13. Get 1 tsp finely chopped garlic
  14. Take 1 cup chopped tomatoes
  15. Take 2 tsp chilli powder
  16. Prepare 3 tbsp maize flour (makai ka atta)
  17. Prepare 1/3 cup water
  18. Take 1/4 cup milk

Steps to make Makki and sarson samosa:
  1. Knead the dough with warm water. Make a tight dough. Can add little more weat flour if not able to form tight dough
  2. For saag - Combine mustard leaves, spinach, green chillies and ginger with 1½ cups of water in a cooker and cook on medium flame till the greens get cooked and the water dries out. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Blend to a coarse paste in a mixer. Keep aside.
  4. Heat ghee in another pan, add the onions and garlic and sauté on a medium flame till the onions turn translucent.
  5. Add tomatoes and cook till the mixture leaves oil.
  6. Add the prepared paste and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  7. Add the maize flour paste, milk and salt and mix well. Simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Cool it before stiffing in samosas
  9. For samosas - Make a ball from the dough - Cut in two semi circles
  10. Take one make like cone and fill saag as we do for a normal samosa
  11. Seal the sides - And fry in hot oil
  12. Serve Makki ki Roti and Sarson Ka saag in a different way with a twist
