  1. Make ready 1 cup Makki Atta (Maize Flour)
  2. Make ready to taste salt
  3. Make ready 1/2 tsp. ajwain (carom seeds)

  6. Prepare 2-3 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped

Steps to make Makki Di Roti:
  1. In a bowl, take all the ingredients, except oil.
  2. Knead into a dough with some hot water. Keep aside for 15 minutes.
  3. Divide into 4 equal portions.
  4. Take each portion and spread it directly on a greased tawa with the help of your fore fingers. Make few holes on it.
  5. Fry on both sides by drizzling some oil in the holes and around the edges.
  6. To prepare the next one, keep the hot tawa under running water for a few seconds to cool down.
  7. Serve them hot with yoghurt, butter, pickles or any side dish.
