The ingredients needed to make Makki ki roti:
  1. Make ready 3 spoon makki ka atta/maize flour
  2. Make ready 2 spoon whole wheat flour
  3. Make ready to taste Salt
  4. Make ready Pinch chilli powder
  5. Get Cumin seeds (optional)
  6. Get 1 spoon ghee
  7. Make ready Water (as required to knead a smooth dough)
  8. Take Handful Coriander leaves

Steps to make Makki ki roti:
  1. Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients maize flour, wheat flour, cumin seeds, salt, chilli powder and mix well.
  2. Now add water and knead till you have a smooth dough. Also add the Coriander leaves in this step. Remember to wash the leaved thoroughly before adding them to the dough.
  3. Leave it for 10 minutes. Now make a ball of it and roll it in a thin chapati. Try to roll it as thin as possible without breaking the chapati.
  4. Cook it on the tava or pan. Cook it a couple minutes from both sides. apply ghee to give it a golden hue.
  5. Now your tasty makki ki roti is ready, enjoy it with butter, curd or classic sarso ka saag.
