The ingredients needed to make Makki & methi croquettes (tikki):
  1. Prepare 1 cup makki Ka atta (maize flour)
  2. Get 1 cup fresh fenugreek leaves (methi Leaves)
  3. Get 1/2 Cup curd
  4. Get 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  5. Prepare 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  6. Take 1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  7. Prepare 2 finely chopped green chillies
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Take Oil for shallow fry

Steps to make Makki & methi croquettes (tikki):
  1. Assemble all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add little water if required to knead a soft dough. Keep rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Divide into equal portions. Make round balls. Flatten it in round shape with your palm.
  4. Heat deep nonstick fry pan. Add little oil. Place tikkies. Shallow fry them on slow heat until golden.
  5. Flip it's side. Add oil & fry both sides.
  6. Serve hot with tomato sauce, green chutney, salad & curd.
