  1. Take 1 packed tofu (firm or silky)
  2. Prepare 1/4 slice onion (thinly sliced)
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp gochujang paste (you can find it in any Asian store or Smith’s store)
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp ginger powder (you can use the fresh ginger slices)
  5. Take 1/2 tsp garlic powder (you can reply with minced garlic)
  6. Prepare 1 tsp paprika powder
  7. Take 1 tbsp soy sauce
  8. Take 1 tsp mushrooms powder (optional)
  9. Get 1 tsp cayenne powder(optional, you can skipped if you don’t like spicy)
  10. Take 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  11. Make ready to taste Salt
  12. Get Squeezes lemon or 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  13. Get 4 cup water (veggies or non veggies broth)

Steps to make Spicy Sour Gochujang Tofu Soup:
  1. Using a pan heat up little oil, then sauted the onion.
  2. Add ginger, garlic, black pepper, gochujang paste, paprika, mushrooms powder, cayennes pepper and water.
  3. Let them boil and simmer until the gochujang is dissolved.
  4. Add tofu, soy sauce and salt to taste. Cook for another 3-4 minutes. Lastly add a few drops of sesame oil and lemon juice, then turn off the heat and serve. Don’t forget to sprinkle green onion as a garnish. Enjoy!
