The ingredients needed to make Genuine Sesame Tofu with Yuzu Pepper Paste:
  1. Get 3 tbsp Roasted sesame seeds (I used Shinsei brand's)
  2. Take 100 ml Water
  3. Make ready 100 ml Milk
  4. Get 2 sheets Gelatin leaves
  5. Take 1 tbsp Corn starch
  6. Get 1 pinch each Salt, sugar
  7. Prepare Yuzu pepper sauce:
  8. Get 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Yuzu pepper paste
  10. Prepare 1/2 tbsp Roasted sesame seeds (I used Shinsei brand's)
  11. Make ready 1/2 tsp Sesame oil

Steps to make Genuine Sesame Tofu with Yuzu Pepper Paste:
  1. Soak the gelatin in water.
  2. Grind the sesame seeds in a mortar (until you no longer see the shape of the sesame seeds).
  3. Warm the milk in a microwave at 600 W for 50 seconds. In a bowl, add the warmed milk and the drained and squeezed gelatin and mix it until the gelatin dissolves.
  4. Add the water and the sesame seeds from Step 2 into the bowl from Step 3, and mix well. Add the cornstarch and mix more.
  5. Microwave the mixture from Step 4 at 600 W for 2 minutes. Using a whisk, mix it really well until it thickens and the sesame seeds no longer sink to the bottom.
  6. Season it with salt and sugar. Dip the mold in water and pour the mixture in it. Chill it in the refrigerator.
  7. Transfer it into a serving bowl. Eat it with your favorite sauce. Yuzu pepper sauce, wasabi and soy sauce, sesame seed sauce or miso sauce go well with it.
